Under the Basmala banner, Hasan -Vs- Goliath's Control Room album is Post-Modern Hip-Hop. It also has JazzHop, Beats, and Jazztronica elements. This came about through his production of instrumental hip-hop or beat art. It has a precise mix of styles.

Since the late 2000's, Hasan -Vs- Goliath has heavy Hip-Hop influences. While focusing on the art of beat-making (beat art) or instrumental hip-hop. Not confused with Theme music or Beats (sub-genre). Which signifies a producer is selling or licensing one-off tracks. Which he also does for his Urban Sufi Music (SESAC), Ghadaqan Music (BMI) and So Amusing (ASCAP) publishing.

In the past Hasan -Vs- Goliath has licensed content to muzak esque companies such as Mood Music and RX Music in Canada. Moving into 2023, Hasan -Vs- Goliath built up his current repertoire with a few albums and EPs. "I was working like a bulldozer from the beginning of 2021-2023," he explains. "It was a step up. It improved my engineering skills," added Hasan -Vs- Goliath. This all works well in the jazztronica realm. He also released projects as HA Ya-Ali & Acklan.

Hasan -Vs- Goliath has weathered many music phases since he deep dove into beats in early 2000's. Hasan -Vs- Goliath has honed his compositions with a new release schedule from 2024 to 2027 (iA). Triclking out the concept-based album series Practice as Hasan -Vs- Goliath. He also makes original music for licensing.
